Lap-Chee College has 178 double rooms, 52 single rooms, a laundry room and the Yao Ling Sun cultural commons consisting of a music room, study room, and studio.
We also share a common podium and the College Hall with the other JCSVIII colleges.

The Student Village
Lap-Chee College stands on top of a shared 4-floor podium with three other colleges in Jockey Club Student Village III.
Aside from the facilities held inside each college, the podium contains some facilities which are shared between all four colleges. Namely, College Hall, the general office, and the ground floor lobby.

Each floor is designed to be a comfortable and social space for everyone.
The spacious communal lounge on each floor includes a fully equipped kitchen with electric stoves, a microwave, a refrigerator, and plenty of storage for your cooking essentials.
There is also a cozy hangout area with a TV and sofas, along with a dining area with tables and chairs.
In addition, each floor has communal washrooms and shower stalls, maintained for cleanliness and convenience.

Yao Ling Sun
Cultural Commons
Occupying the entire 3rd floor of Lap-Chee College, the Yao Ling Sun Cultral Commons was was established with a bequest from the late Mr Yao to be an exceptional focal point for students from all over the world to meet, share and contribute.
The Cultural Commons provides a mirror-walled multi-purpose studio, a stylish student lounge, a well-furnished Chinese tea chamber and an audio-equipped music room, which can be booked by students and clubs through the college lobby.

At the entrance, there is a security booth and a check-in machine for access control.
There is also an open lounge area with sofas and Chinese-themed decor, and a television room available for use (temporarily closed).

The laundry room is equipped with 6 washing machines and 6 dryers which can be operated with a charge using your college smartcard.
